Criminal conviction and the job search
When you have a criminal conviction on your record, it can be very difficult to find a job. Many employers won't interview you. You're considered high-risk. So, what do you do?
Some prisoners get skills training when they're in prison. They come out and they're ready to look for work.
Many prisoners find that it's harder to live outside of prison.
There is hope. Don't give up. If you persevere, you'll find a job. You also need to make sure that you keep out of trouble. You'll find it even harder to find a job if you become a repeat offender.
